The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Administration for Children and Families (ACF) Children’s Bureau awarded the State of Louisiana a Data Collection and Analysis Grant in September 2006. This Strategic Plan describes planned activities to be completed October 2006 - September 2011 to achieve desired outcomes as it relates to the objectives included in the Program Instruction issued on June 15, 2006. Grant funds will be used for a number of initiatives. This document presents the strategic plan that will guide the upcoming year of the CIP Data Collection and Analysis Grant. It includes the following: - A letter from the Louisiana Supreme Court requesting funding. - A letter of support from the Louisiana Dept. of Children and Families assuring its ongoing collaboration. - Names and titles of the members of the Louisiana CIP CARE Advisory Committee, a statewide task force - A strategic plan, including a detailed guide (in chart form) to the major activities, timeframes, and responsible parties that will contribute to the success of the Court Improvement effort.
