The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) outlines a process for IEP meetings. Although IEP services are individualized for each child, the IEP process should be routine and predictable so parents learn to participate. If your child qualifies for special education, you need Boot Camp! Why? IEP Boot Camp is a place where everybody gets the same basic instruction and information. You will learn to:

• be a part of developing your child's education program;
• know what services to ask for;
• ask confidently for services your child needs.
