Intro to Trust-Based Relational Intervention

Children in foster care have experienced trauma in one way or another, and because of these difficult experiences in their young lives, they need to be parented with trauma in mind. Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) is a parenting strategy developed by the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development, designed to promote health and healing for children from hard places.
During this training session, you’ll get an overview of TBRI, and learn some of the positive effects implementing it can have on children in your home. Whether you’re a new foster parent or a seasoned one, you don’t want to miss this information or the opportunity to connect with other foster families!
Good for 1.5 hours of in-service training credits for foster families
